On our return to the West, i.e. best coast, from Florida several years ago, we’d scheduled a tour of Palm Springs to view listings. My wife had the initial contact established with Tony Vaccaro, so my entering the picture was kind of “after the fact” given that my wife had already established a professional relationship in the real estate search. We’d done this quite a few times, so I was comfortable with it. Tony is quite well established in the Palm Springs market, so after viewing several of the items that he had lined up for us to tour, we ended up with a unit that was pending being listed through a colleague of his. We ultimately settled on that unit, but without it being listed, its list price hadn’t been market tested, so I was more than concerned about “paying the asking price”…not my style. As it turned out, we did buy a few items from the seller, but was pleasantly surprised that he’d left way more stuff than what we’d bought, making the deal even sweeter. One of the nicest transactions we’d enjoyed over the many we’ve been involved with. We look forward to working with Tony again as we’re contemplating returning to P.S. again.
